I think of you and watch the sky 

grow ever darker in my eyes

you told me once to not let go

told me to stand my ground and though

you mayn’t always be here

you would always be there

to watch it rain

let it rain, you said

let it rain

see your fears pour down the drain

and hear all the voices say

let it rain - 

just let it rain.

Today, I have my last exam and my prom, which means that I've finished my time in secondary school. To me this poem seemed oddly appropriate and I thought that I would share it with you guys. I wrote it a while ago and it's gone through a few different versions - I hope you like it!
