Hello and welcome to Another Ranting Reader!
I’m Jemima Elliott (she/her), a 25-year-old Welsh gal living in the North of England, journalist and campaigner working in and around climate justice and fair fashion.
I care a lot about slowing down our fashion industry, so on my blog you’ll see lots of posts dedicated to slow fashion - whether that’s ethical and sustainable brands I love, old OOTDs or longer discussion pieces, you’ll have plenty to read! I also write on periods (because we need to talk about how they affect us more!), books, and veganism (especially cake and all things sweet. Can you tell I have a raging sweet tooth?).
I hope these posts can help just one person understand the fast fashion industry and the issues surrounding sustainability better, and inspire them to take action.
If you want to stay updated on my blog, the issues I cover, or just want to see what I get up to, make sure you follow me on Twitter, Instagram, Bloglovin’ and Pinterest. And if you ever want a chat about sustainability, ethical fashion or want a banging vegan lemon cake recipe, drop me a message or comment on one of my posts!
I am a freelance writer, regularly contributing to Remake, and with publications in The Sunday Times Ireland, The Tab UK, Shado Mag, The Breakdown, and Eloquentia Magazine. I am also available for consultations on labour rights' and environmental issues in the fashion industry. For professional enquiries, see my Work With Me/Contact Me page.
